Invest in a cost competitive and sustainable alternative

Why invest in our technology?

NILO is building a future where plastic waste is no longer pollution, but a valuable resource that supports safer materials and commercially viable circular systems.

01

The Market is Ripe

The global engineered wood panel adhesive market is currently worth US$18 billion. Urea formaldehyde resin dominates engineered panel board manufacturing, but alternatives are being sought.

02

The Pressure is Real

Regulators are clamping down meaning manufacturers are actively seeking safer, lower-emission alternatives. Additionally, consumers want healthier products in their homes, schools and workplaces.

03

The Waste is Growing

Polyethylene (PE)  and polypropylene (PP) make up the majority of global plastic waste. They're hard to recycle and most of it ends up in landfill or incinerators.

04

The Solution is Ready

NILO solves two major problems by addressing plastic waste and offering a cleaner, safer, formaldehyde-free adhesive that’s ready to scale.

Milestone Roadmap

Concept, feasibility and focus

The idea to transform plastic waste into valuable materials takes shape. Initial research begins and early trials confirm technical viability. Focus narrows to binder for engineered wood panels, a high-volume industry under pressure to decarbonise.

Strategic Partnerships formed

Inter IKEA Group joins as a strategic partner. The vision sharpens: a formaldehyde-free binder made from plastic waste, designed to integrate into existing wood panel manufacturing.

Technology Development and Team Expansion

Adhesive formulation is refined through extensive lab work. IP strategy progresses. A multidisciplinary team is built to support technical, operational and commercial readiness.

Investor readiness & Internal Validation

Key performance benchmarks are met internally. Capital Raise A1 completed. NILO binder confirmed to meet international standards for furniture-grade particle board IKEA PB2 performance and environmental standards.

Independent validation & commercial trials

Validation trials begin at third-party test sites. Commercial trials commence with global manufacturers to demonstrate real-world performance.

NILO NZ demonstration scale production facility & scaled trials

A demonstration-scale production facility is commissioned in New Zealand with capacity for up to 10,000 tonnes per year. Scaled trials begin to validate technical and commercial performance at industrial volumes.

Global deployment of NILO processing facilities.

International scaled facilities are developed to meet global demand. Licencing, modular factory design and full commercial rollout underway. Liquidity event planned.
